At the moment Prof. Dr.Butovsky is managing FSD Programs with the overall value of 7 mln. $. As project manager Prof. Dr. Butovsky has broad experience working with organizations implementing both in "green" (biodiversity conservation) and "brown" (pollution prevention) projects. For 21 year Prof. Dr. Butovsky worked with the All-Russian Research Institute for Nature Protection dealing mainly with the problems of invertebrate protection, ecotoxicology, and landscape ecology. He worked as ecotoxicologist in 1992 in Vrije Universiteit (Amsterdam, The Netherlands, EERO fellowship ) and in 1993 for the Institute for Nature Protection (Hasselt, Belgium, ESF fellowship). Since 1994 Prof. Dr. Butovsky was involved in several international projects funded by NATO, The Netherlands Society on Environmental Research, European Environmental Research Organization (EERO) and PIN-MATRA primarily as a coordinator from the Russian side. He worked as an expert for GEF, Biodiversity Conservation Program for the Russian Federation (soil invertebrates) (1994-95); Council of Europe (1994-97) (invertebrate conservation); and the European Center for Nature Conservation (ECNC) (1994-present) (development of the pan-European ecological network). Prof. Dr. Butovsky has published five (5) books, more than 70 scientific papers in peer reviewed journals, and presented more than 50 abstracts at various scientific meetings around the world.

Professional interests of Prof. Dr.Gaponov lie in Ecology, Entomology, Parasitology and Medical Zoology. Sergey Gaponov is an active member of New York Academy of Science, USA, member of All-Russian Parasitological Society and Entomological Society. He participated in congresses, expeditions and teaching all over the world (USA, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Honduras, Belize, Australia). In 1996 for his professional achievements Prof. Dr.Gaponov was designated ‘Man of the Year’ by European Biographical Centre, Cambridge. He has published 3 scientific monographs and over 200 research papers. He is also the author of 7 textbooks for undergraduate and graduate students.

Scientific interests of Dr.Perelomov include bioavailability and speciation of trace elements in soils, adsorption of metals and metalloids by abiotic and biotic soil components, construction model ternary bio-mineral and organo-mineral systems to study heavy metals behavior. Dr.Perelomov has a lot of national and international academic awards and prizes among which is Grant of President of Russian Federation for Young scientists (2006); Fellowship of Centro Volta – Landau network, University of Milan, Italy (2009); International German-Russian fellowship “M. Lomonosov”, Institute of Environmental Genomics, Helmholtz Zentrum, Munchen, Germany (2011); Research Award (Endeavour fellowship) of the Australian Government, University of South Australia, Adelaide, Australia (2012). He has about 20 publications for Russian and international scientific journals.
Mr.Polendakov had been occupied at different positions with foreign trade and trading companies before he joined HC Group at the end of 1997. He held the position of Sales Director for HC Bulgaria. In 2001 he was promoted as Country Manager Bulgaria of HC. In May 2004 Mr. Polendakov was offered the position of Director Business Development Central Europe and CIS countries. At the end of 2005 he returned to Bulgaria and started running a small business of his own. Later Mihail became the CEO of a British investment fund and took responsibility for all their 7 companies in Bulgaria. In January 2011 upon the invitation by HeidelbergCement Board of Directors he accepted to rejoin the ranks of HeidelbergCement Group as General Manager Russia.

Dr.Gaebler joined HeidelbergCement in 1995 as a sales manager and since that time held different managing positions in sales and logistics. In 2007 he started his career in Russia and currently works as Director Building Materials. He is a person who knows all operating HC quarries in Russia. He strongly believes that business starts on the production site and professionally divides his time between office work and site visits. The scope of his responsibilities includes integration of the newly acquired AGG activities in HC; management of all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality and cost-effectiveness; development of relations with outside customers, vendors and agencies and consistent and effective leadership.
