Step 1: Preparing pupils for collecting the herbs (habitats, quarry, botany, use of classification books, protecting resources, sustainable use).
Step 2: Collection of herbs from March to June. Pupils spend time in the quarry Vohenbronnen, roughly once a week. The herbs are professionally dried and stored in school.
Step 3: Then pupils design posters and labels for marketing their home-made tea blends.
Step 4: The pupils evaluate the project and present it to the school including the project partner HeidelbergCement, cement plant Schelklingen.
